Vintage 1980s MAVIC 610 URD bottom bracket in New Old Stock condition.

Top quality bottom bracket with aluminium lock rings and super smooth sealed bearings.
This bottom bracket was designed to be used even if the threads of the bottom bracket shell are damaged. The whole cartridge body slides into the shell and it uses two angled lock rings to secure it in place. It requires that the edge of the shell be chamfered for a secure press fit.
(Mavic made their own specific tools for this, Ref: 652 and 653).
